At Arun Dog Training, we can show you how to set your dog up for success and turn your dog struggles into strengths
with our strategies and 3-minute training games. And by the way, that does not mean your dog has to love playing with toys.
So, is the training just a bit of fun, without results? Nope! It’s actually based on scientific research that shows your pet will learn more effectively if the training is fun.
We use kind methods only (positive, rewards based training) that will boost your relationship with your dog.

I’m Heather Sanderson IMDT, Founder & Trainer of Arun Dog Training.
Pictured with me is Bella, a Setter Collie cross, who was part of our family for almost 12 years.
I went to several different training classes with Bella, with some success and some rather embarrassing moments too. Once, early on in our training journey at an obedience class, Bella jumped onto a windowsill to steal the teacher’s bag of liver sausage!
I became a certified dog trainer in 2018 and have learned from a variety of training providers. I am a Full Member (accredited) of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and I have been awarded 'Approved Dog Trainer' status by The Dog Training College. I've helped train hundreds of dogs.

Frequently Asked Questions
How old does my puppy need to be to train?
Home is a great place for your puppy to start learning the behaviours you DO like, so you can prevent those doggy behaviours you will want to avoid such as separation anxiety, jumping up and excessive mouthing and biting. Home 1:1s are great for puppy training from any age. You can start your training before your puppy is fully immunised and even before you bring puppy home so that you have the knowledge and confidence to get off to a great start from day one (and night one!)

Cancellation Policy
Refunds are given at Heather's discretion.
1:1 cancellations: If less than 6 hours notice is given it can be counted as a training session provided.

I have got a rescue dog named Dillon. After 3 months of having him, I made the decision to help him. He was extremely anxious, also nervous of the outside world, even the garden.
